1. About Renty Algeria

Renty Algeria ("Renty", "we", "us") operates rentydz.com, an online marketplace that connects customers with licensed car rental companies across Algeria. Renty is not itself a car rental company; we facilitate introductions between customers and independent rental providers.

2. Eligibility

To use Renty, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driving licence, and provide accurate personal information (name, phone number, national ID, and driving licence where required). Rental companies may set their own additional age and licence-tenure requirements.

3. Booking & Payment

All bookings are processed on a "request then confirm" basis: the rental company has the right to approve or decline your booking request. Payment is made in cash directly to the rental company at pickup. Renty does not currently process online payments and takes no commission on bookings.

The rental company may require a refundable security deposit at pickup. The amount and conditions of the deposit are set by the rental company and must be returned to you at drop-off if the vehicle is in the same condition as at pickup.

4. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel a pending or approved booking through their account. Cancellation rules (free cancellation window, no-show fees) are set by each rental company and displayed on the car's listing. By confirming a booking you accept the company's cancellation terms.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• Return the vehicle on time, with the agreed fuel level, clean and undamaged.
• Use the vehicle only for lawful personal transport within Algeria.
• Do not sublet, race, or use the vehicle for commercial ride-hailing unless agreed.
• Report accidents, theft, or damage to the rental company immediately.

6. Rental Company Responsibilities

• Hold a valid commercial registration (RDC) for vehicle rental activities.
• Provide vehicles that are roadworthy, insured, and registered.
• Honour approved bookings and deliver the vehicle at the agreed time and location.
• Return the security deposit promptly after inspection at drop-off.

7. Limitation of Liability

Renty acts as an introducer. Any rental contract is between the customer and the rental company. Renty is not liable for vehicle condition, accidents, theft, loss, injury, or disputes arising from a rental. We recommend verifying insurance cover and inspecting the vehicle before accepting it.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Renty to post false listings, submit fake reviews, spam users, reverse-engineer the platform, or evade security controls. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Renty after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
